Sarambu Sikore | Two waterfalls, one estuary

For those who like adventure, this one destination must be visited. This location is unknown to many people considering its location which is rather difficult to reach. Its name is Sarambu Sikore, a nature tour with two waterfalls that come from two different rivers that fall on the same pool and flow out into one river. Its natural and sustainable place is far from human activity.

Sarambu Sikore waterfall in Awan

This waterfall is located in Awan village, sub-district Awan Rante Karua district, North Toraja. Located ± 50 km from the city of Makale via Kurra district and ± 50 km from the city of Rantepao via the Pangala’ line.

The vehicle cannot enter the location of the waterfall, so you have to walk ± 2 km through a path in the middle of the forest by passing a number of steep cliff edges. Because it is in the middle of a mountain forest, it is recommended that local residents accompany if they go there.

There are things that must be considered by visitors to the waterfall. Maintain environmental security and sustainability, do not dispose of litter. Its natural and sustainable place is far from human activity.

Remember, Sarambu Sikore Waterfall is not a garbage dump, so bring your garbage home. Appreciate the customs and culture of the local community.
